Much of the work of MidtownMemphis.org happens at our monthly Planning and Development meetings where we discuss applications to the Landmarks Commission, Land Use Control Board, and Board of Adjustment with neighborhood representatives. While there are different guidelines for each Historic District, there are similar approaches to navigating the process and advocating for midtown neighborhoods.

Our mission includes honoring our historic character and our work at the neighborhood level educates and advocates to preserve it.
