 Improvement Project: Angelus Tree Planting

Completed Jan 2025 during an MLK Day of Service event MidtownMemphis.org partnered with Memphis City Beautiful and Cash Saver to plant 10 native shade trees in the sidewalk on the east side of the Cash Saver parking lot. The concrete cutting was donated by Pollan Paving and over 70 volunteers participated in digging the holes, planting the trees, and mulching around them. This project is part of our Madison Ave. Improvement Project and our Shade is Cool campaign.
